We all wear different masks in our lives. Spending a day at a maskmaking workshop can reveal inner masks, heal old wounds, show your creative nature, and reconnect you with playfulness and fun.

And all for a mere $50.

I provide the space (in Wellard, south of the river), materials for making a plaster mask of your face (Your nostrils are never covered during the process so breathing is easy). I also provide paints, a glue gun, and some beads and trinkets for decorating your mask. You provide your face and any decorations (beads, feathers, paint, and so on) that you feel resonate with the mask you want to make, your creativity.

The workshop starts with a guided visualization that may reveal symbols, colors, and images for your mask. Then we make the plaster mask for each person. While they're drying, we'll eat the lunch that you bring with you. After lunch, the fun of decoration starts. When the masks are complete, each person talks about the mask and what it means to them. Then the other participants tell the person with the mask what they see in it. The day is heaps of fun and can be healing and revealing.
